“When people think of volunteering for such an organization or raising money for tzedakah, they get frightened. “How can I ask people for money” or “Who will give to me?” are some thoughts one might think. Ateres Kallah runs on different fuel- PURE HASHGACHA fuel. Anytime I may feel uncomfortable about asking, I remind myself -this is not for myself, this is for Hashem. This has nothing to do with me. I need to put my embarrassment aside because at the end of the day, I am giving people a zechus to be a part of this incredible organization. Since I began to collect money almost 4 years ago, I feel that I am part of this amazing Ateres Kallah family. Ateres Kallah is full of warmth and love and it simultaneously gives the members, and the kallas who we are collecting for, a true personal feel.“
